I've pretty much abandoned it because EVERYTHING seems to be a battle.

While what you say is true about the battle, it wouldn't be so bad if people didn't rise to the bait. Not only that, but, IMO, calling people Satan is counter-productive.

To top it off, everybody seems to be on a hair-trigger. Cabin fever maybe?

That being said, I do still at least read the threads, even if some of the comments are over the top.

Which is why I have decided neither to post nor lurk on FreeRepublic for Lent. The time I spend here could well be put to better use.

I am tempted to note that satan is as satan does, but I will acknowledge that palpy's satan-inspired vitriol has occasionally brought out the worst in me.

I hate it when he lures me to stoop to his own satanic level.
