Pope John Paul II is calling on all Catholics to fast on Ash Wednesday (March 5) against war in Iraq. With all due respect to the Holy Father, I shall be fasting that day for victory over the tyrant, for the protection of our soldiers, and for the successful defense of the United States and its allies against Arab/Islamic terrorism.

I still can't get over the bareful dancing nuns last year at the opening of Our Lady of Angels in LA. hmm....The OLOV statue is so beautiful. Thanks for pinging me.

One time years ago, I saw an icon with the same name (our lady of victory) except it was only the virgin and she was dressed in battle array and she looked as if she were about to kick some satan butt. Ever see that? I have never been able to find that icon again. It was incredible.
