Aren't you afraid of being accused of "attacking" all the Islamic FReepers?

Just read them the "Four Spiritual Laws" and see if they respond.

If that doesn't work then try contributing a boatload of money to:

They are one of the few Charities that spread the Gospel along with a lot of needed food and supplies to Muslim nations.

Think this thread might hang around long enough to get involved in it? It could turn into "Islam-bashing", you know.

I think Veith gives us some insights here as it pertains to the ones who aren't bent on jihad, that is. As with all other world religions whose followers are forever trying to measure up, their guilt for falling short would leave open a door for the real gospel and the real Jesus. It seems to me it would be welcome news to know there is "therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Just a thought.

I saw a video about a year ago called "The Cross and the Crescent". It was about the Islam religion and how to share Christ with them. It's overall premise is that they must be shown the true God of the Bible and shown that the Bible is the only true, inspired Word of God.

In my opinion, false religions and false beliefs such as this seem to be spawned when one goes outside the Bible as the only true, inspired Word of God and begins to "add to" what God has said in His Word. If one adds to or goes outside what God has said in His Word, all of a sudden there is no standard and everything is subject to interpretation based on what someone claims was "revealed" to them. People turn to them and what they say as authoritative instead of God and what He says. Maybe that's why God cautioned against adding to what He said in His Word?

God is explicit that there is only one true God (Isaiah 43:10). He is explicit that His Word is inspired by God Himself (2 Timothy 3:16). Belief in anything else and anyone else is a false belief.

Yes indeed - for its plainly apparent that articles critical of the entire islam faith (read cult) are tolerated while any reasoned and documented discussion (including Congressional testimony) regarding other cults are quickly wiped from the boards.

This is totally incongruent to the same argument used to cover someones backside here

snippet from the site

C. The First Amendment As An Element of Fair Use: To Find Other Than Defendants' Use is a "Fair Use" Would Cloud the First Amendment Rights of Both Defendants and Users of the Free Republic web site.

A fundamental purpose for the existence of the freerepublic.com website is the exercise of the First Amendment rights of users of the site. This further weighs in favor of a finding of "fair use" in light of the purpose of the copying for the expression of First Amendment rights of free speech. Harper & Row, Publishers, Inc. v. Nation Enterprises, 471 U.S. 539 (1985) (the "Nation" case); Hustler Magazine, Inc. v. Moral Majority, Inc., 796 F.2d 1148, 1151 (9th Cir. 1986). See, Exhibits 1006 and 1007 hereto.

go figure

So is it "free speech" or BYU moderated speech ?
