I don't know why he hasn't gotten more heat--but then, the pervert priests under his leadership didn't come close to being anywhere near as outrageous as Fr. Paul Shanley.
Bishop Egan has been very very quiet in this whole affair.
I might add he's highly intelligent and well educated.
