Then you both surprise me, also with no criticism intended. How is it that a so-called neo-Catholic like me has been saying this prayer regularly since childhood (so have never lost it) and yet it is brand new to you, yendu bwam, and relatively new to you Max? That is surprising, unless either of you might be converts.

I was a non-practicing and non-believing Catholic until age 18, sandyeggo. And then one day, for my own information, I read a book on the world's religions. It rekindled my interest in Christ's words, and (by the power of the Holy Spirit, I am sure), I picked up the Bible and read the Book of Matthew from start to finish. At that moment, I realized I was reading God's truth. It was so beautiful, so perfect, so right, so loving, so selfless, so Godly, so totally and completely good. My life completely changed that day. I give thanks every day that that be so.
