In fact, I don't pretend to be a Roman Catholic any more than I pretend to be a Mormon, and for the same reason. In other words, you don't believe in "Mormonism," or "Catholicism," and so you don't subscribe to them. Fine.
But you have to do more than that, don't you? Small minds and gutless wonders always do. You have to cast stones at those who choose to believe differently from you, lest they prove to have the truth after all.
Sorry, pal, but in spite of--maybe even in part because of--the efforts of simps like you, our Church is growing as fast as ever.
Calumny may defame, as Joseph said, but the truth shall go forth, boldly, nobly and independent of the opinions of cretins such as yourself.

Why? Is he gonna bring up some *new* argument that we haven't heard before? (Right, like you and your ilk ever had an original thought in your sorry lives).

N.B. If drstevej, BibChr, RnMomof7, Wrigley, Elsie, and Philip Marlowe dropped dead, there'd BE no more "Mormon-bashing" on FR.

[1] Illbay wants Mormon bashing to stop on FR.
[2] Illbay says if certain persons dropped dead Mormon bashing on FR would stop.
[3] Therefore, Illbay would like these folks to drop dead.
BTW, I'm not sure what a "sack of ****" is. Is this a Mormon expression?

I'm not particularly worried about numbers. Neither is the Lord.
And for this reason God will send them strong delusion (Mormonism, et al.), that they should believe the lie (Mormonism, et al.), that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
But we are bound to give thanks to God always for the brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose us for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.
Woody.
P.S. Repent of your Mormon hatred for God so it is possible for you to be saved.

Illbay, no translation necessary:
My cult has so destroyed my ability to think independently, reason, and process facts that when others directly quote Scripture I can't even deal with it, so I have to throw my knife wider and wider in the hopes that they'll forget the point I never considered in the first place!

Oh fetch!
I was going to respond to THIS:
As a believer in Jesus, I read what He says several hundred years' worth of pseudo-Christian demagogues say that Christ said, I believe conform to it like a good little minion, I affirm it (so they won't hurt me). I would be an arrogant fool show some actual guts and fortitude to do otherwise--and I just don't got what it takes.
but you've beat me too it!
You're just a horse p'tooty!

Is it "throwing stones" to say that
Buddhists or
Hindus aren't Christians? They certainly wouldn't say so.
Then why is it "throwing stones" to say that Mormons aren't Christians?
Oh, wait, never mind, I know: it's because Mormons LIE when they say that!
And you say your cult is enslaving and damning more and more lost souls? And I'm supposed to be shocked, shocked to hear that when I carry and believe a Bible that says
For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, will accumulate teachers for themselves because they have an itch to hear something new. 4 They will turn away from hearing the truth and will turn aside to myths
(2 Timothy 4:3, 4)
"Myths." Wow, does that nail the Book of Mormon, or what?

Oh, now, Doc -- there you go again, using LOGIC!
Now what use will LOGIC be to someone who goes by whether or not his chest is on fire?
What use will LOGIC be to someone who also can confirm that a religion that teaches that God is only one IS THE SAME AS a religion that teaches that there are many true gods?
What use will LOGIC be to someone who also can confirm that a religion that teaches that we are saved by a mixture of faith and works IS THE SAME as a religion that teaches we are saved by Jesus Christ alone by grce alone through faith alone?
Logic? Pah! Cultists have no use for logic! It isn't about logic!

... according to their own desires... ~2 Ti cite
This is the interesting reality of the Biblical doctrine of Reprobation. The Lord is only giving the reprobate exactly what he desires. Why should they or anyone, therefore, have any reason to complain that the Lord does not draw them out of their cult.
Of course, this sobering reality is hammered home with these words of the Lord: "I never knew you, depart from Me..." I wonder how Mormonism could possibly be true in light of the Matthew cite when it is clear from the very words of the Lord Himself that He never had an intimate loving relationship with any of these people, something Mormonism seems to teach with their "Celestial spirit babies" and pre-flesh doctrines.

Okay, change "drop dead" to "move to Tibet with no Internet access available."
You can convert all the monks there to your comic theater version of Christianity, in fact.
You'll have more luck with them than you will attempting to destroy the Lord's Church.
