Finney's an interesting character. We had some big discussions of him about a year ago. Someone posted a few of his sermons.

There was something odd in his theology, but I forget what it was. Probably that he was actually a Pelagian (spit!!) who held to an exclusive governmental view of the attonement, thus denying it's actual sacrificial nature.
