I'm simply addressing the forced connection between Joe Smith and Methodism.
This isn't the first time that jean's called arminianism into question. When someone question what calvinism writes, have you ever seen any calvinist respond to it as if it were an attack?

I think we should declare Tuesdays to be "I'm a Calvinist Day."
Then, those of us who aren't can try on those clothes and pretend to be total determinists.
Actually, I can already do that via "the perfection of God's foreknowledge," but I've never done it via "God planned every detail of anything I'll ever do."
Corin, Rev....whachasay? Tuesday is "I'm a Calvinist Day."
Thursday will be "I'm an Arminian Day." Will they play?
Sunday can be "I'm a Biblicist Day." That's the day we get to pretend that the entire bible is true whether we can fully explain how it fits together or not.

This isn't the first time that jean's called arminianism into question. That is true and doesn't concern me at all. Now, on the other hand if he started to agree with basic arminian theology, I'd be very concerned.

I won't say that it never happens, but I can't think of the last time it did.
