The Mormon wedding is interesting God calls the man through the veil (into the celestial Kingdom) and then the Husband calls the wife..that is VERY symbolic and points to the fact the woman does not rely on God to be saved..but her husband.
At one time the Husband took the temple 'wedding vows' to God and the wife to the husband...
I was never clear on what happens to the woman if the husband doesn't call her name? Anyone?
