Exactly - can't see how they can justify laughing at the LDS interpretation of scripture when theirs is so off the wall and relies on the same principles.

That's pathetic. Would like to point out exact how these principles are the same? In actuality, the LDS use the exact same method to prove their interpretations are correct as the Roman Catholic Church. Would you like to see the evidence?

There is also the difference in belief about the filioque. The Eastern Orthodox church uses the version from Holy Scripture, but the RC has changed the original version and added to it ( surprise!).
