Exactly. The cults succeed only if and when the church (all of 'em) fails to educate, care for and support its membership. Those of us who slip through the cracks are prime targets for the cults. And the cults do all kinds of damage to the families of the followers by straining and often breaking these bonds. An alert ministry team/priest & laity can prevent most of the cult love bombings from working.
