It should be foremost in our thinking as we hope for an end to this mess. Each day we learn more and more about the "support" groups that provide money and power and direction to those errant bishops. If we don't get to the roots,just like weeds they will be back,choking the Truth,which will have its roots even deeper in the heart of the Church.
One of the "gems" in this article is the identification of one of the bishops' appointments to the "Citizens Committee of Abuse". I knew about Panneta and Bennet but to find this McHugh character's background is proof positive that the bad bishops and cardinals had absolutely no intention of cleaning up this scandal. No,they just intended to bury it deeper.
Oh,for the names of those persons who sat on the appointment committee.
