***Like it or not, Stevej, this appelation from the esteemed and pugilistic BlackElk will be the beginning of your journey to Roman Catholicism.***
Once Chuck Colson asked Gordon Liddy about his spiritual condition saying, "Have you seen the light?"
Liddy replied, "I am not even looking for the switch!"
I am not looking to switch. I do appreciate the cordial interchange even when we could not be farther apart.

We already sent you guys Scott HahnAnd thanks, BTW.
But if you keep hanging around these threads, sooner or later, you'll want to post as an 'active participant.'
The path's been cleared by Hahn. Take a short walk.

Sorry ultima for supporting you. I am sure you will be tarred and feathered because an "errant brother"/"heretic" (depending on whether you follow Vatican II/Trent) can see your point.
Ultima may only follow Trent, but Catholics follow both Trent and Vatican II, as well as the rest of the ecumenical councils. One Council does not abrogate the previous one, any more than Lukes Gospel abrogated Matthews.
And of course, you are still a heretic, even to us Vatican II Catholics.

He was a good start. Were greedy. ;-)

As Marcus Grodi would say, we want you too, no less than Scott and Kimberly Hahn,Gerry Matatics and his family and so many, many others. There is One Who cannot be confused by any agendas of yours or mine. As Jesus Christ instructed us to say the Lord's Prayer when He was asked how we should pray, I and presumably you are sincere in praying that His will be done. If it is His will that I should be a Presbyterian (which I sincerely doubt) who am I to disagree with Him? If He should want you to be Roman Catholic (which you would probably sincerely doubt), who are you to diagree with Him? I would certainly try to do His express will and so would you, whatever that will may be. Right? We simply lack absolute knowledge of His will. We each think we know but we are neither of us infallible in any sense. We will both keep praying. May He reveal Himself ever more fully to us all!
BTW, I don't know what Liddy is now but he is an alumnus of a Jesuit prep school in the 1950s and was probably Catholic then since the Jebbies still were.
