The actual greek rendering of that greeting is

Luk 1:30 And the messenger said to her, `Fear not, Mary, for thou hast found favour with God; (Youngs literal greek translation)

AV - be highly favoured 1, make accepted 1; 2
1) to make graceful
1a) charming, lovely, agreeable
2) to peruse with grace, compass with favour
3) to honour with blessings
