The head guy in Rome can't bring himself to do anything against any bishop who obstructs justice, covers up crimes, intimidates victims and transfers pederasts, the conservative RCs on this board whimper and wring their hands for relief and divine guidance from the same hierarchy which they are cowed by and submissive to, the hierarchs whimper that they have to safeguard the "rights" of priests, complete with due process and statutes of limitation, and some dioceses pay hundreds of thousands to priests who are relieved from their duties because of molestation. Meanwhile, they can hammer a guy who dares to speak the truth in very short order.

Y'all have been sold a bill of goods.

First, what on earth is a Y'all?

Second, you can now return to the Dark Side of the Force.

Your posts sound an aweful lot like another Freeper who was banned this spring and went by the screen name "No_particular_harbor" (if I remember correctly.)

He had been a victim of priestly abuse and left Catholicism and used exactly the same rhetoric and slander as you do here on multiple Catholic threads lately. You signed up around the time he disappeared

Catholic caucus, ignore this a$$ regardless. Just my humble advice, of course.

1. You are apparently operating under the curious French Revolutionary conceit that the government is somehow more worthy of obedience than is Holy Mother the Church or even God Himself.

2. I suspect that you are about to regularly find that many "conservative RCs" neither whimper nor wring their hands nor are cowed by anything whatever much less by the impudent likes of you.

3. Fr. Haley will ultimately receive his necessary support from people within the Church who believe in what he has done and despise the careerists like Loverde and not from hypocrites outside the Church who use Fr. Haley's circumstances as the occasion of cheap shots against the Roman Catholic Church.

4. In a world occupied by you, why would we who are Catholic be particularly surprised that there is sin in the hierarchy or in the rectories. Satan is a lot more interested in corrupting our bishops and priests than he needs to be about corrupting you.

5. Why is this any of your business in any event?

6. Have we made your miserable existence that much more miserable from afar than you have made it up close that you find yourself obsessed with matters Catholic which are not your own? You have too much time on your hands.

7. Imagine yourself dancing with the misnamed "Goddess of Reason" upon the desecrated altar of Notre Dame cathedral. Imagination is as far as you are going to get.
