That's your fault, kiddo.
Let me post the verses for you:
Mt 13:
[41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
[43] Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
They get their glorified bodies at the seperation of the sheep and the goats and they enter the Father's kingdom shining like the sun.
That means no New Jerusalam, they are not the Bride are they the bridesmaid? Where do they fit in all this? When do they get their glorified bodies?
Define what YOU mean by the church?
Rev 20:
[7] And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
[8]And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
How did the Temple help you reconcile the Satan being bound now issue with you?
Wow, procreation must kick into overdrive at that point because Satan is only loosed a short time!
What's the verse again that says Satan's "hands are bound?" My translation says: "He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years." Nothing about hands there:)
It's not called Paradise for nuthin' ;^)
Actually, we don't know the length of the "short time".
Children have been being born for a thousand years. Not all of them come to a saving faith in Christ, I would even argue that the majority of them do not. Satan is loosed and those not believing in Jesus Christ knowingly throw their lot in with Satan, thus becoming tares.
So Satan is bound, but his hands are free? Sorry, if I stumbled on words there, but that was an honest question.
If Satan is now, currently, at this moment bound (as I understand the amillenialist believes), explain to me the spread of Islam, etc.
'zat better? ;-)
Well, that was helpful....
Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more,
The word Cast is in the past tense..having been completed..
In Job we saw that Satan NEVER had completly free reign..he could only do what God allowed him to do..
We read that God allowed him to blind the Jewish people from the truth of the gospel..God allowed Satan to attempt to stop the plan of salvation..all of this for the Glory of God
So that you might know that I AM GOD
Jesus turned the work of preaching the gospel over to men..and to enable that Satan had to have his ability to deceive the nations removed..
He will be realeased to allow for the final deception so that once again Gods power will be manifest..and the world will know that He is God..
Look out your window Tim..it is snowing here:>) I have been in and out of FR doing some online Christmas shopping...How timely the snow
I'll go ahead and FReepmail you my list. It's not THAT long. ;^)
Could you be a bit more specific? What am I saying God lied about?
Well, it can't be THAT short...the number of the tares is like the sand on the seashore (Rev 20:8). Again, that's a lot of procreation in a "short" time.
Must be a coincidence too that the term "short time" is used in the same verses in which amills point to the thousand years as essentially signifying a "long time." :)
She should save her money then. I'm still using my old one. [OLD Scofield, not NEW Scofield] ;^)
Some of his notes are ok, some I can do without.
