Yes, I heard a long presentation by a priest associated with Adoremus whose subject was "The Elvis Mass." He discussed a movie Elvis made in the early sixties where Elvis was playing guitar in front of the altar while a Mass was going on. This was before Vatican II, but it showed the direction of things to come.
