Is there a DIRECT quote made by Jesus? He and the writers quoted the cannonical books directly..do you have a direct quote? (I must tell you in advacne I spent a few hours looking for one a while back and did not find a DIRECT citation as there are from the other books of the OT.)
No one denies that the non cannonical books are a common cultural knowlege ..we doubt the inspiration of them ..as did the Jews that did not include them in their canon...and they also were not in the dead sea scrolls

Dr. Roger Nicole wrote the book, "New Testament Use of the Old Testament," in Revelation and the Bible, ed. Carl F. H. Henry (London: Tyndale Press 1959) pp.137-41).
I haven't read it (just various references to it), but it is probably full of good information on this subject.
