You excused yourself for having to go somewhere in order to confess your sins because, after all, you are Catholic.

Well, I'm sorry that I misinterpreted your excuse ("I am a Catholic") for using a second-fiddle priest to confess your sins to (instead of THE PERFECT PRIEST), as an apology.
