Why do you think Protestants take a Bible to church? They take it so they can follow word for word what is being read and taught...it is much harder to teach false doctrine if the folks are reading along...
We read scripture everyday here from the Daily Mass Readings...I can bet its more scripture than the protestants are reading..

<> It isn't argueable. In a three year cycle, Catholic cover the entire Bible. Yer local prot church goes over a much smaller percentage of the Bible and single verses are pulled from different books to make a point. Many verses are endlessly repeated to confirm in the minds of the listeners that the oral traditons of the 16th Century revolters are themselves Biblical.
Belief preceeds Scripture, and those "doctrines" are the personal opinons of 16th Cnetury men.<>
