. I think when we pray for peace in the middle east for example God says.... "I hear your prayers.. but you know... if you would read My Word, I've already told you what will happen in the middle east.

It does enable me to focus on friends, family, evangelism.

However, when I pray about candidates for office, I like to know if they're anti-JEW (anti-semitic McKinney, for example; Jess Jackson for another). If they are, I specifically pray for them to lose. It's harder with someone being anti-Israel, because that could just mean opposition to a particular foreign policy that Israel is practicing. Sometimes, though, it is disguised anti-semitism.

What about praying for Israel to regain Temple Mount. Is that a difficult thing for any of you out there to pray FOR?

Lord give us Peace in the middle east, Let the Jews recapture the temple mount, make sure Al Gore or Hillary aren't elected in 04, oh and please let the SOONERS win another national championship this year??

PS.. I mean if all of this is within your will.... and if it isn't please prove those Calvinists wrong by changing your mind.
