so as in the phrase preceding it. For whatever reason,
he said a thousand, it is believable, and acceptable to me,
and I will take him at his word there as in Revelation.

Leviticus 27:28 " 'But nothing that a man owns and devotes [ 27:28 The Hebrew term refers to the irrevocable giving over of things or persons to the LORD . ] to the LORD -whether man or animal or family land-may be sold or redeemed; everything so devoted is most holy to the LORD .

Just a thought....consider the idea that at the time the words "owns a cattle on a 1000 hills was written" that it referred literally to how many people had made an "irrevocable" giving of all or some of their cattle to the Lord, according to the levitical law.

Another thought according to the levitical law -- that the 1000 hills refer to land/cattle specifically owned by the Temple for use in sacrifices.

He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Literally...for temple worship.

We agree Wood..I know it is poetic..but it is also prophetic..it is telling us something about the Jews in the end times...could it be there are 144000 on those hills??

God had a reason for not saying all as he did in the other verses...
