Interesting that the Church at Laodicea would remove from their canon a letter [Book of Revelation] specifically addressed to it .
The disdain for a Jewish Millenium couldn't have been at the heart of attempts to "deuterocanonize" [ie demean] those uniquely Jewish NT books like The Book of Revelation , 2 Peter 2, Hebrews, John's other two epistles, James and Jude, could they? Could this have been the ulterior motive of the deuterocanonizers? To try to silence the Jewish past, present, and future? Sure looks like it.
