This line is one I've advocated for years. And I might make my premil compadres nuts, but I believe that more than the premil position. I think it's my military training in the decision making process....it's forces me to acknowledge when I'm dealing with an assumption and when I'm dealing with fact.

All of the millennial positions use assumptions, including my own post-trib, pre-mil position. If the assumptions don't pan out, then there goes the position. ONE MUST KNOW ALL THE POSITIONS. More importantly is simply TO KNOW THE SCRIPTURE AND TO BE CONVERSANT IN THE SUBJECT.

Sorry, but I said the "spirit" of those evil men, not those evil men themselves. Your Paradise will have all manner of evil allowed to endure. These men must be kept obedient under a rod of iron, much like present day Iraq I presume.

As you well know, I'm the last one to be in a position to throw stones or issue lectures on the etiquette of fair and polite discourse since I am relatively unacquainted with it.

I think both millennarian positions have a problem with the paradise they're describing and advocating. Both sides are doing far better at finding the flaws in the other guys' paradise than in their own.

I'm satisfied that the Lord has it all in hand. And He does seem to like to confound us in wonderful ways. That's enough for me.

I don't, nor do you. But the whole relationship is a revelation about something not just having to do with repentance.

I was waiting for Woody the other day to come to class. Since you (woody) are the only one here who seems to know what his address is, and have admitted to pondering this dilemna, I will ask you if you know just what, went on there, is going on there, and will go on there? Take your time, and ask the Holy Spirit to tell you. I ask you because I don't think the rest know. And if they don't know, they need to learn to study, and listen for a change, instead of blathering on endlessly about things that mean nothing, and then I will be happy, and after all, that's what is important. :)

I'm not advocating a "paradise" on this earth. Jesus: My kingdom is not of this world.

However, xzins has declared that when the Lord returns that He will not cast all things that offend into the furnace of fire. Therefore, if Sadaam is alive when the Lord returns, Sadaam will get to enjoy the "paradise" for 1000 years. I guess that Paul was just kidding when he talked about "sudden destruction."
