This alarms me. Please make sure that that she has been check for preeclampsia. It's a pregnancy hypertension, which can be fatal if not monitored. Please make sure her doctors know what they are doing.

Dear Lord, please help this mother, child, father, and family through the miracle of this birth. Please guide them and their doctors in the decisions they make.

Most of all, please bless them and their new child with a close walk with you throughout their lives. May they always put their full trust and faith in you, regardless of the difficulties they may face.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Hysterectomy? Isn't that a little over-kill unless medically mandated by other factors?

Wouldn't a tubal ligation and/or vasectomy accomplish the purpose if another pregnancy is to be avoided?

God bless you all. Things are going slowly. Because of April's kidney problems, they could only give her low dosages of labor inducement medicine. She is even asleep right now, I just talked to her mother at the hospital. They are trying to see if labor will take it's course and she can have the baby without a c-section. She and the baby are said to be doing okay, this is just taking time. I'll let you know when the baby is delivered!

You have my immediate prayers, but I went through the same thing with my daughter 3 months ago and my grandson is perfect.

Everything will work out, I'm certain. I have to admit my heart was in my throat for awhile 3 months ago.

Agree. There are several points in this medical situation which concern me too. Prayers will be said for April.

May God bless you all. The baby's heartbeat has been going up and down. That means great distress, umbilitical card problems. I don't know what the doctors are thinking. April was given an epidural a few minutes ago to relax her and maybe the baby would descend into the birth canal. I yelled at my brother that when the baby's heartbeat goes to zero and back, you have a birthcord problem. I'm no doctor but I've been there, done that and bought the T-shirt. My brother Roy, will call me back in 30 minutes. Please pray.

Also, I thank everyone for the good advise about no hysterectomy. I've told my brother of all the good advise I've received here, and he understands.
