Look up the word "was" in verse 2 and you'll see the real meaning of the word is, to become or became. What was it before it became formless?

You're pullin' my chain, right? Was is the past tense of is. (For details on the meaning of is, check deposition files of W.J. B. Clinton.)

Also in Ezekiel 28 you see the prophet talking of satan in Eden as a glorious angel. In Genesis we see him as the serpent. Was he here before the earth became formless and empty?

You tell me. So far you haven't offered anything that suggests man was on the earth prior to Adam. (You have caused me to doubt your sanity, however.)

Gen 1:2 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. (NIV)

Gen 19:26 26 But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt. (NIV)

The word "was" in Gen 1:2 and the word "became" in Gen 19:26 are the same word (hayah).

" Strongs definition 1961 hayah (haw-yaw); a primitive root [compare 1933]; to exist, i.e. be or become, come to pass . "

Like W.J.B. Clinton, you might be spending to much time pulling your own chain ;)
