Please see #26. The chapel in question was in Chesapeake, Virginia. Ping me if you still have questions.

There is only one SSPX Chapel in Virginia, it is located here:

Immaculate Conception Mission
804-222-3530
The Clarion Hotel
> VIRGINIA BEACH
1st, 3rd, 4th & 5th Sunday 4:00pm
2nd Sunday 4:30pm

This does not appear to be the Chapel you attended. While it is certainly true that different priests exhibit varying degress of abilities when it comes to the talent of preaching - from outstanding to acceptable - in my experience of attending SSPX Chapels, there have been relatively few sermons that I was not in complete agreement with. However to characterize the faithful and the priest as ignorant and self-righteous as you did after one brief visit to a Chapel that was obviously not SSPX was patently unfair.

Perhaps you should get your facts in line before making blanket statements. I doubt very much that you spoke with all the congregation and that they all displayed the characteristics that you describe.

This appears to be the Chapel you attended. It is a Diocese Chapel where the Traditional Mass is said. It is not an SSPX Chapel.

St. Benedict Chapel
521 McCosh Dr., Princeton Halls Subdivision,
Chesapeake, VA 23320
Fr. D. Abbaticchio, OSB
Diocese, SU 10 am, 1st F/Holydays 7:30 pm

OSB stands for Order of Saint Benedict.

Perhaps you will retract your previous statement attributing you visit to an SSPX Chapel.
