I've been reading the Catholic blogs for only a short time now, and I have to admit I don't yet get it. Many of them are written by truly intelligent, articulate, and accomplished people with a lot to say. But because the communication is almost entirely one-way, I'm so far not convinced that we don't have a better setup right here. The past coupla weeks seem to have been taken up with a discussion of the silliest Veggie Tales song. I'm a fan too, but come on. Am I missing something?

Frankly I wish those bloggers would join us here. (maybe some of them already have?)

I think it is a terrific idea to invite excellent Catholic bloggers to join us on FR. I prefer the FR interactivity. Nonetheless, I do enjoy a fine blog called The Widening Gyre

Maybe I'll start my own Banshee Blog ....

Honestly, I'm convinced we DO have a better set up right here!

This forum is the perfect set up for just the kind of communication real Catholics need at the present time.

Any ideas how we can promote a greater Catholic presence and interaction here?
