The post you responded to ("Ignorance is wisdom.") demonstrates empirically why I am not as active on these threads as I used to be. To wit, I refuse to suffer those who purposefully distort another's words. And when I say "purposefully distort," believe me when I say that I'm being very kind.

But to my point. I have to admit that I admire you all for doing what you are doing in keeping true to the Word of God and maintaining a patient disposition. Call it "fruit of the Spirit" if you want, but I can't do it. To me, offenses are to be met harshly. Differences in interpretation of sound doctrine in a truly Christian humbleness is one thing; deliberately lying on those who one debates with is quite another.

So, let me say again that I admire you all greatly for doing this. Maybe one day I can be this way as well. But there's no use in my saying that I am right now because it's untrue.

Onward, Christian soldiers!
