Yes, very true but only the half of it. Ad hominem is probably the most used tool. The old worn out post of "I said so" links is another ineffective tactic. They can post from talk-origins where Eugenie Scott advertises for NCSE, a Darwinian mouthpiece. But make the mistake of using a link to ICR or some other Christian site even when posting a supporting non-Christian site and you'll be defending every viewpoint expressed on the Christian site whether you espouse it or not.
