and

2{newspaper}

You need more bits (1, to be exact, in the most efficient scheme possible) to describe 2 identical newspapers than you do for just the one copy.

I understand that. But it is not a bit more, that would be three. It is a bit over. I commented on the need for more newspapers for error correcting.
