inquiring minds would like to know, the number of scandals per church with the crucifix missing.

Gee, that could be a real interesting research project.
There is a beautiful crucifix in the Jesuit run church I attend now, no scandals that I know of.

Huge Crucifix in our Church and Chapel, and our parish is thriving. The Clergy above reproach, that it seems as if all this scandal is eons away. The Lord seems to be protecting the churches where He is still being honored as our Saviour.
