The Middle Eastern policy of the United States does NOT rest solely with Israel. Get that through your head and then maybe you will gain some sort of understanding. Israel is an important Ally but that is all it is. We will defend Israel if they are attacked BUT Israel is NOT a state of this Union. Get it?
Like Bush? You hate him. You are working as hard as you can to destroy the man and his chances in 2004 as well as the chances to get the Senate. Remember now, Bush is the reason they are shooting in the Middle East. Bush is a hypocrit and you are deemed to be the one to tell the world. No facts - but you know.
Whatever your reason - it is based on hate. Why would you have to attack Bush? I don't hear you attacking Arafat - he sits there with the U.N., the democrats and even some here ignoring him. Instead Bush is at fault. This is exactly why we should never have done anything in the M.E. - the democrats are going to pin the blame on Bush however it goes. No president has ever settled the mess over there - but that doesn't matter. They intend to use it because, you see, it is always easier to use hindsight to judge. It is easy to blame - same as you are doing.
