Just because you were raised RC doesn't mean you ever were taught the faith in the first place. Guaranteed you were never taught, or bothered to study later, that which you left. Read the articles, you may be pleasantly surprised. You need to learn about Catholicism from sources other than Protestant ones, then you can make your decision.
