No need for a bouncer, those not on the list never get to the door.
NO SOUP FOR YOU ;0
I know where your church stands -
Nehemiah 8:2 So on the first day of the seventh month Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly, which was made up of men and women and all who were able to understand.
Joel 2 28 "And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
Acts 2 17" 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
Couple questions Ma -
where does your Church stand on speaking in "tongues"
do they allow you to speak in Church
are we in the end times?
That's right and you don't even want the Blood of Jesus. You hate God and you would curse Him directly if you could. That is, if your name is not written in the Lamb's book of Life from the foundation of the world.
Why is that unfair? You are getting exactly what you really want!
BTW, do you believe that the names of the elect were not know before the foundation of the world was laid?
It's probably 'cause you're not a baseball fan. But I probably still am anyway.
BECAUSE....I served my country for over 20 years and in two war zones and prayed over lots of our dead and a lot of the enemy dead. You're a hardshell, red-blooded, flag-waving American, patriotic type....just like me....you gotta appreciate me. It's a requirement.
Then why did the Savior tell all men to "Listen!" just nine words before? More misdirection? Does it ever give you pause to note how many times the Calvinist construct must accuse the Lord and His Apostles of misdirection as to the universality of a true offer of salvation in order to make the construct "fit"?
As I explained in #1291 above,
"Implicitly you argue that the presence of the conditional on the "hear" prong implies that God intentionally deafened some. But that is hard to sustain in context (that terrible awful word to Calvinists again) when the Savior tells all to "Listen!"This is entirely consistent with His teaching of the parable of the ten virgins (Matt 25:1-13) that prudent waiting ('listening') is a willful precondition to 'hearing'. Thus, Jesus' use of "if" on the 'hear' prong reflects that some will fail to 'listen' and thus, perhaps, not 'hear.'
Perhaps they were told by some not-so-helpful Calvinist that Christ was not for all and there was no reason for them to continue to 'listen' because they would not 'hear' in any event. What a fearfully erroneous doctrine of man. Cf. Matt 18:1-14."
And yet another Glorious Gospel Moment of Spiritual Edification from Reverend Woody.
Is there any particular reason why you like to focus in on images of depravity, Woody?
If your not on the list, then you will not even show up to check. You have a nasty allergy to music. No bouncer needed!
Well, we (xzins and I) were talking about the spiritually rebellious unregenerated, but elect, person. How do you think God sees it--
A bunch of used to be spirit children fat naked babies living out their potential?
To be honest, if I weren't on the calvinist list and the calvinist thing were actually true, I wouldn't hate that god. I'd be disappointed in him.
LOL! But there will be a seat for them front row to see Jesus and His angels, provided they refuse to repent (Rev 14:10), right next to the "Village People."
BTW, you do know that we are speak hypothetically and I'm not making any accusations at you, RIGHT?
Honestly, I hope Wrigley never goes anywhere. But sometimes I wonder if its the ballpark holding the Cubs back.

Now, there's a Cubs fan!
Woody, there are reasons in the Bible to believe that God changes course. This could mean that God continues to update his foreknowing. (Jonah and Ninevah; God telling Moses he'd start over using Moses' line instead of those who were there before him. There is the idea of contingency in the bible.)
And the Bible says that "those" he foreknew he predestined. You already know what I believe that indicates....foreknowledge precedes predestination.
That automatically means that we are in the process of working out those choices RIGHT NOW! And that when God foresaw each choice that it was a true, free choice.
That makes it so that RIGHT NOW is the first time it's EVER HAPPENED!
Now, I've told you this dozens of times in the past. Has it changed your mind? Has it changed the name of anyone on the pre-selected list.
One of the great arguments against calvinism is that it turns all of life into futility and meaninglessness.
Kolob, perhaps.
