Some are tipped by a sensation of smell - not my favorite because it usually is quite foul (like the smell of raw sewage in a septic system).

Some years ago I began to have powerful "smell" sensations best described as the odor of burning sulphur.

In the final analysis it proved to be an "aura" as a result of epilepsy caused by a severe fall which cracked my skull. I didn't know at the time that it was a "sanctifying" episode. In fact, I still don't see the connection. I simply thought it was just one more condition I had to learn how to live with. ;-)

OK, one comment. Too bad it wasn't a good smell like Krispy Kremes or steak or new car.
