There was an article in the paper abotu some Hispanic groups complaining about the beer and alcohol industry and how they have made Cinqo de Mayo into some type of drinking holiday and not the noble, family event it once was.

Um, they don't need to celebrate it as a "drinking holiday" if they don't want to.
