"Treeless prairie?" You don't know Iowa. Wait a minute. Trad drove through PA last year and commented on how pretty and unusual it was. He said he was not used to seeing so many trees.

He said he was not used to seeing so many trees. That's different from saying Iowa is treeless. A good portion of my childhood was spent in northern Wisconsin, where trees are beautiful and plentiful. Iowa is a prairie state but not like Kansas or Nebraska. There are many forested areas in Iowa - but it's no northern Wisconsin or Pennsylvania.

Calling Iowa a "treeless prairie" is like saying Pennsylvania is a vast, stinking metropolis.
