This is not really a change in subject. It is the same "lost sheep of the house of Israel" under discussion.

As far as I can determine ventana is claiming this group does not include the "10 lost tribes". At least that is what I think he is saying.

Why would you think that? Can't sheep wander away from the "found" tribes?

John the Baptiser sure found a lot of sheep in the immediate country that needed to repent.
