Really.. "SEEMS". Can you elaborate on this. I'm having a difficult time imagining based on all the things the institution of Catholicism has drawn to itself in the way of trouble by it's own doings that you can construe this as being favored by God. If you're implying logevity means favor, then you'd have to conclude that Chinese humanist Communism along with Budhism and countless other pagan religions including the worship of ISIS are favored of God - obviously not the case as we know these things are hateful before the eyes of God. So do please elaborate.

I don't see the favor in dying (not successful) religions like paganism, Buddhism, and SOME forms of Protestantism.

However, I do see the favor in a religion as successful as the Catholic Church.
