Sigh. If some of you don't recognize this holiday, that is ok, but how about giving us that do a break. Do yall think something good can come of something bad? Maybe the name needs to change (any of you that celebrate easter have any ideas?) but to tell the story of the resurrection, feast and have fun playing a game of finding eggs while keeping your thoughts on the Son doesn't seem pagen to me. I do draw the line at pretending there is an easter bunny though caz I think children should be told the truth.

Think of it as us performing our duty to preach the gospel CD. Perhaps the information put out is for you, perhaps it isn't...but it still is preached.

From Would Jesus Keep Easter?

"If Jesus walked the dusty roads of Galilee today, would He keep Easter? Certainly not. But He would be consistent because He does not change (Hebrews 13:8). For instance, He would keep the annual Passover in the same manner as He instructed His followers to keep it (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; John 13:15-17). And Jesus would observe the Days of Unleavened Bread in the way He inspired Paul to instruct early Christians (1 Corinthians 5:6-8)."

Someone last week used the term "Resurrection Sunday".

You're free to do whatever you want. We just report, you decide. :-)
