By the way, its not because she was "a mother." Did you intend to minimize her role? She was not just "a mother." She was the mother of the Savior. Maybe you don't think that's a special honor.

You know I wasn't "minimizing" her role, but I don't "maximize" her role either. She was honored and I admire and respect what she did just like I do for others the Bible speaks about, that accepted God's will and did great things thru Him. I don't pray thru her to Jesus though and I don't think she likes it when yall do either since as was said "her will is God's will" and nowhere in the Bible do I find that God says you "will" pray through the mother to reach the Son. Show me scripture where I am wrong.

Is she just "a mother"? I wouldn't say that. I also wouldn't say that she is just like the others who did God's will.

You are a mother, right? How can you not recognize that the person chosen by God to bring Him into the world is a special and distinct honor, even among the other saints?

As for prayer to saints, this is just an area where we disagree. As I've said many times before, we do not view the Christian community to be composed of two, seperated halves, the dead and the living.
