The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.
Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

How come we have to choose
from just 2 persons for president,
and 50 for Miss America?

Yes, I do know this. But this is what seperates us. I believe you when you say you don't worship the Bible. I believe the Jews don't worship the Bible. But when we Catholics say we don't worship Mary, you call us liars. If we revered Mary so much that we accorded statues of her the same honor Jews accord the Torah -i.e. burying them when they are damaged- you can bet Protestants would show this prove we worshipped Mary.We don't have to prove this, we already know it. Statues, you made her a perpetual virgin, she ascended, she protected the pope from a bullet. Its one thing to talk the talk but ya gotta walk the walk.

"How come we have to choose from just 2 persons for president, and 50 for Miss America?" Is there anyone who would truly want it the other way around? Think about it.

"Oops. Blew it again. She assumpted" I know you're kidding, but there's an important point, here. She didn't "assumpt," she was assumed into heaven by God's power. And that's the point. Mary is who she is because of God's power, not because of any merit of her own.

If a thing is worth doing
it would have been done already.

but they certainly do not "worship" itYou mean that they don't adore it. Now you know how we feel when others claims that we "worship" the Virgin Mary. We worship Mary in the primary sense, of giving homage to a person of high rank. We adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

If your voting could really change things,
it would be illegal.
