Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |
Don't you have any parking lots to pave?
Do you have any suggestions?"Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you". (James 4:8)
At Luke 1:31, the angel tells Mary that she "shall" conceive a child, not that she has conceived a child. Mary is perplexed as to how this is possible because she is a virgin.
Were I to tell my virgin daughter that she would conceive a child in the future, she wouldn't be the slightest bit confused as to how this could occur. It would only be confusing to one who intended to remain a virgin.
At John 19:26-27, Christ, while hanging on the cross directs these words to his mother: Woman, behold thy son!...and directs these words to John: Behold thy mother! No obedient Jew would have delivered over his mother to a stranger for care were there living children and no Jewish children would have failed to care for their mother.
The height of arrogance!
Yhis is "arrogant" how?
NCs have major problems with the Marian doctrines of the Church. I think we all know that. So insted of discussing what we agree upon, we have endless banter about Mary.
If we were all Catholic, the amount of conversation about Mary would be much less.
And NCs do not accept Mary, so they don't accept the Church. That's true, isn't it? If they accepted the MArian doctrines, they would do so because the Church testified to them. Not because they were explicit in Scripture.

You must be watching a golf match.
If we were all Catholic, the amount of conversation about Mary would be much less.
If we all were Baptist, the amount of conversation about Mary would be much much less.

If this weren't so incredibly stupid I'd respond. Lol.

And this has to do with perpetual virginity or assumption. If you want to resume this please respond to what I asked you to and quit filabustering.

I agree. now whether that is good or bad is another thign entirely.

(SD) Nobody knows what Reggie believes, but his continual taking of potshots at me indicates less than agreement with me.
Who made these diametrically opposed statements concerning the same subject on the same day? None other than the intrepid spinner SD. That's who.
And he wonders why I get on his case. All I ask for is consistency and honesty. Is that too much to ask for?
Well, I'm not a Christian. I've never been called a pagan. But some believe that I'm not saved.
Whoops. Hey. Let me be the first. Angelo, you're not a christian. :-)
I'm afraid I'm gonna have to. Dang. Her timing is always impeccable. Have fun.
