The salvation and damnation of souls ultimately is a great mystery. I understand salvation through Christ. But what of those who did not know Christ? Jesus Christ spoke of a lake of fire, so I truly believe there is such a place. But for whom, exactly? The answer is not as clear as some assert that it is. Some things are still discerned only vaguely, "as through a glass darkly." God in His wisdom has seen fit to leave some matters unfocused for now.

This I do believe: all who have ever lived will someday bend the knee and acknowledge that God was and is perfect in His judgments--some to their joy and some to their shame. Like Paul, I do not dare to presume to judge even myself in this matter.

I wonder about this.... Considering that God gave each of us will and judgement, is it possible that, even when God fully reveals Himself, some will (like Abraham before Sodom) disagree with God's judgement. And, if so, how will God react?

When I meet someone who fits that description, I will discuss the matter with him.

Most of the people who offer the "what of those" point are hiding behind someone else so they will not have to face their own choices.

G-d is not interested in what we think of how He deals with someone else. The issue is how He deals with us. My issue is how He deals with me. Your issue is how He deals with you.

And, of course, if I love someone, I will tell them of the goodness of the feast, the excellence of the wine, and the divinity of the fellowship.

Shalom.
