The nuclear site was previously reported to be inactive, which we now know not to be the case. The strike has left Iran’s effort over the past year to resume nuclear weapons research significantly impacted and damaged. Sounds like good work, but the next strike has to be at 10:00 AM on a Tuesday to kill the key people. Striking at Oh-dark-thirty hours local time destroys facilities, which can be replaced. Striking in the middle of the workweek kills the irreplaceable trained personnel.

Best case: The Iranian people revolt and birth a new democracy a la Romania or Hungary, and all those scientists and engineers work to build a prosperous and free nation rivaling Israel and aligning with her politically. The problem for Iran is that they are like East Germany in 1991, divided between oppressors and oppressed. People who beat women and hanged homosexuals and people whose sisters and mothers were beaten and whose brothers and cousins were hanged. It will take a lot of forgiveness for that country to ever heal. The regime is riding a tiger, and knowing that deserve to be eaten makes it dangerous to dismount.

The iranians swore that this facility did not exist, so they cannot bitch about a facility that they have been denying.

Romania is an example. Also, once the Soviet Union collapsed and the Berlin Wall fell, the East German terror regime fell as well. Of course, the Ceaușescus had no allies, they alienated everyone, and East Germany had a ready-made alternative government (who handled the situation deftly) in the West.
