‘Jesus Is Lord’—Pro-Life College Students Say Kamala Harris Mocked Them As They Were Kicked Out of Rally

Vice President Kamala Harris made headlines over the weekend for how she appeared to respond after two college students called out, “Jesus is Lord,” during one of her rallies. The students are claiming they were kicked out of Harris’ rally in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and that Harris mocked them after they heckled her.

“We did God’s work, and we were there for the right reasons, and God was watching us,” said Grant Beth, one of two pro-life students who called out, “Jesus is Lord,” while Harris was discussing her views on abortion. “I’m all about being a cordial person regardless of your beliefs,” he said in an interview with Fox News, “but I do believe that we were sent there by God.” Kamala Harris Rally Controversy

As Election Day draws near, candidates from the Trump-Vance campaign and the Harris-Walz campaign are continuing to attempt to secure votes from people of faith. Harris, however, is drawing negative attention from some Christians for the interaction that took place in La Crosse Friday, although the exact dynamics of that interaction are not entirely clear.

At a rally at the University of Wisconsin in La Crosse Friday, Oct. 17, Harris appeared to react to Grant Beth and his friend, Luke Polaske, who called out the name of Jesus, by telling them they were at the “wrong rally.” During her speech, the vice president mentioned abortion and criticized former President Donald Trump for choosing U.S. Supreme Court justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade, adding “and they did as he intended.”

Video footage from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel shows that Harris paused after that comment and then said, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally,” after which the crowd cheered. It is difficult to hear anything in that video during Harris’ pause besides people’s voices in the background.

Harris then waved and smiled, adding, “No, I think you meant to go to the smaller [rally] down the street.” The crowd cheered as the vice president gestured and said, “Come on.”

At least two videos that captured the moment from within the audience recorded the voice of someone in the crowd yelling, “Jesus is Lord!” Right after that comment, Harris can be heard saying, “Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally.” It is not certain from the footage whether Harris was responding to the words about Jesus or to something else.

University of Wisconsin students Luke Polaske and Grant Beth told Fox that they were the people in the audience protesting during Harris’ speech and that the vice president was speaking to them after they called out, “Christ is King!” and “Jesus is Lord!”

Polaske and Beth are pro-life students who said event volunteers escorted them out of the event and told the students they were not welcome. Beth said an elderly woman pushed him, and “we were heckled at, we were cursed at, we were mocked.”

“There’s a lot of controversy that says she wasn’t talking to us or [that] we left [and that] we didn’t get kicked out. Well, I can speak on Grant and I’s behalf,” Polaske told Fox.

“On video, Grant’s getting pushed and shoved, and there’s about five seconds before she tells us to go to a small rally down the street. You can see on the video, she waves,” said Polaske. “She was actually waving to me. I took this cross off my neck that I wear and, as we were getting asked to leave, I held it up in the air and waved at her and pointed at her, and she looked directly in the eye, kind of gave me an evil smirk.”

He added, “I just want to clear that up and confirm that she 100% was talking to us.”

Beth said the two went to the rally to protest on behalf of their faith.

One of the Fox News interviewers wanted to understand exactly what Harris meant by her words, although he acknowledged that Beth and Polaske “weren’t in [Harris’] mind.” The interviewer asked the students what they communicated to Harris before she made her controversial comments.

Polaske replied that they called out, “Jesus is Lord,” when they did because they wanted their rejection of Harris’ pro-abortion stance to be clear, and they wanted to show that their faith was central to their lives.

ChurchLeaders has reached out to Vice President Kamala Harris for comment and will update this article in the event of a reply.

On the morning of Sunday, Oct. 20, Harris visited some Atlanta-area churches, including Pastor Jamal Bryant’s New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and Divine Faith Ministries International. At the latter church, Georgia Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock addressed congregants and Stevie Wonder sang to Harris for her 60th birthday.

That same Sunday, vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance took an opportunity to address “people of faith” at a rally in Waukesha, Wisconsin, saying he knew there were many Catholics in attendance. Vance referred to himself as a “very devout Christian” and said, “There is something really bizarre with Kamala Harris’ anti-Christian rhetoric and anti-Christian approach to public policy.”

At that point, someone in the crowd called out, “Jesus is king,” and Vance paused to say, “That’s right, Jesus is king,” as the crowd applauded in response.

So in effect, Kamala said that she is bigger than Jesus.

She doesn’t deserve their votes. In fact, she doesn’t deserve any respect or power whatsoever.

Guys, I’m not good at starting threads so I’ll post this here. At 64 I thought I’d never have any grandkid. I had resigned my self. I knew it hurt my wife worse. In two days, on Friday, I will have my second grandkid. In February I will have my third. God has his own plans. Don’t make plans, God will make a fool of you. I am the happiest grandfather in the world.

What these people did was to walk into Satan's den and remind them that "Jesus is Lord" over all the world, and
that the world is but Satan's footstool, to tease, threaten, mislead all worldly existence,
and lead them to follow him as the 'Great Deceiver', of half-truths.
Even Jesus himself, while in the world, was tempted by Satan and his half-truths, but Jesus demoed him on more than one occasion.
The killing of innocents, prior to being born, is the cruelest of any homicide imaginable, since there are so many prospective parents who wish to have children, yet who can't have children.
Be thankful that you proclaimed the gospel to those who would not listen of their own volition; you have done your duty to proclaim the gospel as missionaries.

To the far left worshippers of Caramella Harris and Elmer Walz Fudd, Brucie Springerstein is Jesus and Tater Swuft is Mary. I see they hired a pussified Gomer from Alabama to do their ads now. I wonder how much he’s getting paid and what his friends think about his dumbass, Harris worshipping gig.

Sure do. When she was just a toddler, she wanted to be a teacher. Always had my wife on the floor with her playing school. She was always the teacher. She got her degree and went right back to college and got her Master’s degree. Amazing. That little girl made her mind up what she was going to do with her life while she was learning to walk.
