“The Old Testament is full of references to the plurality of the Godhead.”

Like this one?

“Hear, O Israel: the LORD is our God, the LORD is One.”
Deuteronomy 6:4

That has a lot of plurality to it if you look at it at just the right angle for long enough. 1, 3, 5, 10, 100, 30,000. Why stop with just a few when you can have as many as ancient Egypt and Rome?

let us create man in OUR image.
in the image of God created he THEM.

of course that would not count because it is from Genesis... the precursor for the other four books of Moses.

It’s because of your understanding of the translation. Echad does not mean one it means unity. Just like in Genesis where it says man and woman are one. Same word echad.

A single person would be yachid. Hmmm...that word is not in the Bible. Wonder why?

Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear oh Israel the Lord (YHWH) our Gods (Elohim) is one God (YHWH)

The Trinity is in the Shema!
