Keep in mind that the messiahs of the past and the messiah of the redemption of Israel are not God.
That and the other teachings of the rabbis will be accepted by the world accordingly while they walk away from all other religions (including Christianity) and ideologies of the world. The Jews will have the last laugh in this epic struggle between ideas of life and death.
Zechariah 8:23
So said the Lord of Hosts: In those days, when ten men of all the languages of the nations shall take hold of the skirt of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”
That’s inherent in the logic, that if the Messiah believed the doctrine [that the Messiah is God], he would never be able to recognize himself, not in a million years.
Perhaps most would think that’s an absurd statement, because why would he believe something like that in the first place? Well, I simply don’t pretend to know where he’s been placed for safe-keeping. Abraham’s God is way more ingenious than people give Him credit for. Truth will have the last laugh.
I’m not saying ‘skirt’ is the wrong word, just that the verse says so much more with kanaf in its common meaning of ‘wing’. (Dove — symbolic of the People of Israel)
Being the anti-establishment, bound-to-offend-someone just by existing type, I’d be the first to laugh if in the process of the big reveal, he’s pulled out of a Cabela’s. Through the receiving door. 😉
