Praying for you!
Prayer For Deliverance In Spiritual Attacks
Dear Heavenly Father, I call on you today as a blood-bought child of God asking for Your help and protection in this time of spiritual attack. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and that through His death and resurrection, sin, death and Satan are a once and forever defeated enemy and that in Christ Jesus my Lord, I have victory over all the powers of darkness that would seek to spiritually shipwreck my trust and faith.
Lord, as I stand before you, I know that I am united in Christ and that there is nothing that I should fear. I know that Satan has a hatred of all those that are called by Your name, and that he schemes and plots against those that are positioned in Christ. Deliver me I pray, from the dangers and evils with which the forces of evil would seek to ensnare me and keep me I pray from all forms of temptation, so that I do not give the devil a foot-hold in my life.
Thank You for the spiritual armour with which I can clothe myself daily and keep me alert to the devil’s schemes. May I resist all his advances against me in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit. This I ask in the name of the Lord Jesus, Who died and rose again so that Satan’s power over my life would be forever severed. Amen.

AMEN! Yes! Thank you stars & stripes forever!
2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Amen. Praying we are careful with our hearts which can be easily lead us astray.
Does the Bible say to follow your heart?
There are many calls to “follow your heart” in movies, novels, slogans, blogs, and memes. Related pieces of advice are “trust yourself” and “follow your instincts.” A corollary dictum is “your heart will never lead you astray.” The problem is that none of these quips are biblically supportable.
Rather than trust our hearts, we are to commit our hearts to God: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5–6). This passage gives an explicit command not to trust ourselves. And it gives the promise of guidance to those who choose to follow the Lord.
For anything to provide proper direction it must be based on objective truth. That is to say that whatever is consulted for guidance must reach a conclusion based on objective truth and not subjective, emotional inference. The Bible teaches that man is to follow God. God declares, “Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him” (Jeremiah 17:7). God has perfect knowledge of everything (1 John 3:20), a trait often called omniscience. God’s knowledge is not limited in any way. God is aware of all events that have ever transpired, are currently occurring, and will ever happen (Isaiah 46:9–10). God’s knowledge goes beyond mere events and extends to thoughts and intentions (John 2:25; Acts 1:24). It is not all this knowledge, however, that makes God a perfectly reliable source of guidance. God is also aware of every possibility, every eventuality, every imaginable outcome of any series of events (Matthew 11:21). That ability, combined with God’s goodness, enables God to give the best possible direction for people to follow.
God says this about the unregenerate heart: “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). This passage makes clear two reasons why no one should bind himself to following his heart when making decisions. First, there is nothing more deceitful in all of creation than the heart of man because of his inherited sin nature. If we follow our heart, we follow an untrustworthy guide.
We are, in fact, blinded to our own heart’s deceitful nature. As the prophet asks, “Who can understand it?” When we rely on ourselves for wisdom, we end up unable to tell right from wrong. The hit song of 1977, “You Light Up My Life,” contains these unfortunate words: “It can’t be wrong / When it feels so right.” Determining right from wrong based on “feelings” is a dangerous (and unbiblical) way to live.
Second, Jeremiah 17:9 teaches that the heart is desperately sick. There is no way to fix the heart. Rather, man needs a new heart. That is why, when a person comes to faith in Christ, he is made a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus does not fix the heart; instead, He replaces it with a new one.
But that does not mean that we can rely on our hearts after we come to faith in Christ. Even as believers, we are encouraged to follow God’s will over our own desires. The Bible teaches that “the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want” (Galatians 5:17).
We have an omniscient, benevolent Lord who promises to give us wisdom (James 1:5); we have His inspired, inerrant Word written down for us (2 Timothy 3:16). Why would we turn our backs on God and His eternal promises in order to pursue the whimsical impulses of the heart?

Prayer For Focus On God
Gracious Heavenly Father, how I praise and thank You that Your mercies are new every morning and that Your goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life.
Help me never to lose sight of the enormous price that You paid on the cross on my behalf, and I pray that Christ may remain the centre and the circumference of my life- focus, every moment of the day.
I pray that in weakness You would be my strength, in sickness You would be my health, in sadness You would be my joy and in every circumstance of life You would be my blessed hope and the rock of my salvation.
And Lord, I pray that the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart may always be acceptable and pleasing to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Prayer for Leaders to Come to Know Lord Jesus Christ
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that You are a gracious and merciful God, but we also know that You are also holy and righteous and cannot and will not look upon sin.
Be merciful we pray, to the nations whose leaders have turned their backs on You and the Lord Jesus Christ, whom You sent to die for our sins. Be merciful to all those in positions of power who are seeking to implement a humanistic, antichristian agenda. Be merciful to those men and women in high places that are seeking to remove all vestiges of Christianity and the One true God from their nation’s laws and rules.
Have mercy on the leaders who deliberately rejected Your Path of Truth and Justice, and bring them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name we pray, amen.
LORD God of Israel, save us.
For the glory of your name, O Lord, deliver us. Let the prisoners’ sighing come before you; with your great power free those doomed to death. Then we, your people and the sheep of your pasture, will give thanks to you forever; through all generations we will declare your praise.

For National Repentance, Deliverance And Truth
Dear Lord and Heavenly King, thank You that there are no boundaries in Your kingdom and that You ultimately rule over heaven and earth, despite the fact that wickedness and evil seeks to dominate the nations of the world as well the lives of individuals.
I pray that You would set up godly men and women in positions of leadership and power in our own nation and in all the nations who exercise authority in our world today.
Thank You for those leaders that are prepared to stand up for truth and righteousness. Give them boldness to challenge those who want to to remove the principles of freedom and tolerance and establish the flawed principles that come from human wisdom.
Lord, I pray that You would guide the leaders of many nations to repent of their sins and turn to the path of peace that only comes from You. Help them to understand that the only peace that will ever be established on earth will be under the rule of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, after Your wrath has been poured out on a Christ rejecting sinful world. Have mercy Lord. Have mercy on all the leaders of nations who do not know You. I pray that many will be saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in Whose name I pray. Amen.

How we thank You Father, for the many and varied examples of men and women who successfully entered the race of life and completed the course that was laid out for their life, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for the great cloud of witnesses in the Word of God and throughout the ages who have finished their journey through life, having run the race that was set before them, looking to Jesus the author and finisher of their faith.
May we remain steadfast to the end of our lives and live the way that You would have us to live, knowing that we are fashioned in Your image and likeness and born again as a new creation in Christ. Help us to “keep on keeping on” unto our life’s end, no matter what struggles and difficulties may ensue.
When we stumble we ask Lord, that You would be there to pick us up.
When sadness strikes at our hearts, that You would be there to comfort and calm.
When clouds of doubt blacken the perspective of our hearts may the sunshine of Your love break through and reveal Your every smiling face of love.
When through disobedience or disinterest we stray from the path of righteousness, You would lead us through the valley of humility and gently lead us back into the way of truth.
Thank You, Lord, that You have promised to finish the good work that You have started in each of our lives. May we therefore arrive at the finishing post having steadfastly run the race that You set before us. May we all hear Your precious words from Jesus,”well done good and faithful servant,” in Whose name we pray, amen.

Psalm 15
A Psalm of David.
1 O Lord, who may abide in your tent?
Who may dwell on your holy hill?
2 Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right,
and speak the truth from their heart;
3 who do not slander with their tongue,
and do no evil to their friends,
nor take up a reproach against their neighbours;
4 in whose eyes the wicked are despised,
but who honour those who fear the Lord;
who stand by their oath even to their hurt;
5 who do not lend money at interest,
and do not take a bribe against the innocent.
Those who do these things shall never be moved.
Amen
Thank you!

2 Corinthians 12: 9-10
My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
Thank you Bigg Red! God bless you.
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You that You are our precious Price of Peace and our perfect example. Thank You that we have Your peace in our hearts and for the understanding that without You there is no perfect peace in this world of strife. Lord, there are many people today who do not know You and who seek to destroy those that are Your children, but Lord You have commanded us to love our enemies, to bless those that curse us, to do good to those who hate us and to pray for those who despitefully use us and persecute us.
Lord, we lay before Your throne of grace the many individuals and groups that openly seek to kill and persecute our Christian brothers and sisters. We pray for each one and lay each soul at Your feet, asking for Your mercy to rest on each of them. Look down in pity on those who are openly aggressive toward Christians for they have been blinded to the truth of the glorious gospel of Christ Jesus our Lord. Open their eyes we pray, and bring them to a saving faith in Jesus.
Lord, we ask Your blessing and mercy on each one for we too were once a stranger to the truth and at enmity against You, but You lifted us up out of the miry clay and set our feet on the rock of our salvation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For America in a Time of National Crisis
Dear Father, there is much happening with our nation at the moment as we are facing a time of crises. The nation seems to be teetering on the edge of destruction and our government seems to have little ability or will to reverse what is coming upon our land and its citizens. Lord, there is increasing unrest and we ask that You guide our nation through this difficult period.
Lord, we pray for all in authority over our land and ask that You would lead and guide the decisions they are to make in this time of crises. We ask that those in leadership positions would be given the wisdom and ability to address all that is looming on the home-front at this present time. Give them grace to govern according to Your will, and may they not be motivated by self-interest, greed or party politics, but rather may they be led to guide our nation onto the path of peace and safety that only comes from You.
Protect all those that are in any way at risk or are suffering from lack or from fear of what is happening in this time of national crises. May we as a people unite together under Your banner of truth, to support and encourage each other, as we face this national crisis together, as one nation under God. Amen.

From Ephesians 6: The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
